Imperium Control Station Upgrade

The Imperium Control Station has undergone some upgrades over the last few months and is now ready to be released!

What Mechan Controls has accomplished is to design and manufacture an electronic version of a key exchange system.

With that in mind Mechan Controls now introduces its first version of the Imperium Reset station and Imperium Tag in Tag out station.

Both of these have been designed around the safety standard EN14118 unexpected start up.

With safety at the heart of all Mechan's developments, the decision was made to design a safety device that would prevent a machine being started whilst an operator was inside it.

The Imperium reset station allows for 1 user to carry a Fob key on there belt, once the machine is stopped it is unable to be restarted until the Fob key is presented to the Imperium station.

This Fob key contains a 4 Billion uniquely coded tag that is programmed during the manufacturing stage and is paired to the specific Imperium control station.

The Imperium tag in tag out system allows for up to 20 users of a machine to safely stop, then enter the machines hazardous area without the worry of the machine being restarted whilst a user is inside.

All users must tag into the system to gain access and only when all tagged in users have then tagged out of the system can it be restarted. This prevents several users coming out of a machine and assuming it is ready to be started while a colleague is still inside.

On the occurrence of a Fob key being damaged or lost, a Master key is programmed to all tag in tag our Imperium's for this eventuality.

The Master Fob can be presented, then presented a second time to clear all tagged in codes from the system.

The Master Fob key must be kept away from the machine and only be accessible by higher management to prevent normal users from manipulating this.

The Imperium Reset station and Imperium tag in tag out station are available to purchase!
